The office PC overheats
Dust and poor airflow shorten a computer's life. A clean and a better location often helps.
The office PC in the corner of a workshop does a lot of work: quotes, stock, invoices and emails. When it goes down, so does the day. We fix it, and make it less likely to happen again.
Computers in industrial units face problems that office machines never see. Dust clogs the fans, heat builds up in poorly ventilated rooms and power can be unreliable. The computer that runs the business sits in the worst possible environment.
Beyond the PC, there is usually a small network with a printer, a label printer or two, maybe a camera system and the occasional staff laptop. These often grew over time with no plan, and little documentation.
We look after small businesses in Hazelmere and similar industrial areas, with practical fixes and straightforward advice. Our business IT support page explains how ongoing help can work if you want it.

If the office PC sits near where dust is created, put it on a shelf off the floor and clean the vents regularly. A can of compressed air and ten minutes every few months can add years of life.
Do not store the computer in a closed cupboard. Heat has nowhere to go, and the machine will throttle or shut off.
If yours is overdue for a clean, we can do it as part of a visit and check the drive health at the same time.
