Worn-out battery
Common and costly. We read its health.
Second-hand laptops are a sensible way to save money, but a cheap one with a tired battery, a failing drive and a locked account is no bargain.
A short check covers the battery health, drive condition, screen, keyboard, ports and whether the machine is tied to someone else's account.
We can do that check with you before purchase, or repair what you already have. For ongoing fixes see laptop repairs.
