Printer shows offline
The classic. Usually a network or driver problem, and normally quick to fix.
Your printer says it's offline, jams on every page, or has stopped talking to your WiFi. We come to your home or office across Perth, or fix it remotely, and get it printing again. No call-out fee.
A printer that worked yesterday and won't today is almost always something simple. A WiFi change, a Windows or Mac update, a driver that's gone out of date, or a print queue that's stuck. The tricky part is knowing which, and that's our job.
We set up new printers too: unboxing, connecting to WiFi, installing it on every computer and phone in the house, and checking scanning works. We work with the common brands such as HP, Canon, Epson and Brother.
If the printer has had it, we'll say so. Cheap inkjets aren't always worth repairing, and we'd rather tell you that than bill you for the time.
The classic. Usually a network or driver problem, and normally quick to fix.
After a new router, a password change or a power cut, printers often drop off the network. We reconnect it properly.
We clear the jam, look for the cause, and tell you if the printer needs more than a clean.
Could be ink, clogged heads or settings. We work out which before you buy more cartridges.
Scan-to-computer and scan-to-email stop working a lot. We get it going again.
We install it, connect it to your network and add it to your computers, laptops and phones.
The make, the model and what the printer says. A photo of the error helps.
Software and network faults can often be fixed remotely. Otherwise we visit.
We print and scan test pages before we finish.
You pay the hourly rate for time on the job. No fix, no fee.
Home visits are $132 per hour including GST, with a one-hour minimum. Business is $165. No travel charge and no weekend surcharge.
If it's software, we can often fix it over the internet without a visit.
Plenty of printer problems are really WiFi problems. We sort the whole thing out.
We explain what went wrong and how to stop it happening again.
If a new printer makes more sense, we'll say so and help you choose.
